What is it?
Theives, musicians, serial killers... is a bit of downtempo based upon the Podcast kNOw Show by my pal nlinus.
The third installment of the kNOw Show was entitled The Simian Show and paid homage to my podcast The Simian Syndicate. In fact, nlinus uses the Booze Monkey tune Taylor Boogie for his show's theme music.
Much of the vibe and content sampled from the kNOw Show for this tune comes from not only The Simian Syndicate and Booze Monkey, but from the SanityCheck.net online forums - Babble-on. The references to "theives, musicians, serial killers, heavy drinkers, poets and church goers" is, indeed, a description of our nothing-sacred online community.
I dig this podcast, I find nlinus damned amusing. I was also quite fond of his earlier show "Culture Cafe". After hearing the Simian Show I was inspired to create this piece. So, here it is, enjoy!
