"Cats are Rockin'" is a long-time staple of Blue's repertoire. Blue first wrote the song in 1993 and he continues to perform it. It's appeared on multiple recordings, in a variety of arrangements.
The most current, and fully arranged, version appears on the Blue Ajay album Bloody Wonderful.
"Cats are Rockin'" appeared, in acoustic-duo fashion, on the debut Booze Monkey album, Good Luck Mr. Gorsky.
The first appearance of the song was on a 45rpm Single collaboration with Erik Mielzarek (now Erik Anders) and the legendary Billy Lee Riley entitled, Erik & BLUE - Tribute to a Legend - Featuring Billy Lee Riley.
The song next appears on the BLUE album, Rockabilly Rat which is essentially a compilation of some of the more BLUE-centric recordings from Blue's collaborations with Erik.
The song was initialy mis-titled, "Cats are Rockin' Right".
